Terms of Service

Last updated 15 June 2026

Template — not legal advice. This is a starting draft and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using 1calculator (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of the calculators and content you create. By publishing publicly, you grant 1calculator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute and promote that content as part of operating the Service (including the public library and embeds). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you publish.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to publish unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing or spam content, to attempt to break security or formulas, or to misuse other people’s data. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

5. Calculators are not professional advice

Calculators on the Service are provided “as is” for general information. They are not financial, medical, legal, engineering or other professional advice. Verify important results independently; we are not liable for decisions made based on a calculator’s output.

6. Intellectual property

The 1calculator name, brand and software are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

8. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
